Hosolvon Tablet is a mucolytic agent which changes the structure of bronchial secretions by rarefication and fragmentation of the mucopolysaccharide fibres; leading to a reduction in the viscosity of the sputum.

“This medicine is for oral use only. Swallow this medication as a whole with water. Do not chew, crush or break it. It is better to take this medication at a fixed time each day if it is indicated for everyday use.

Adults: 1-2 tablets 3 times daily.
Children 6-12 years: half tablet 3 times daily.

Bromhexine Hydrochloride (8mg)

It is advisable not to use this drug during the first trimester of pregnancy.
Give with caution to patients with gastric ulceration.
